Patrick Panico is the owner and founder of SPORTS FIT NYC and former Arizona Diamondbacks strength and conditioning coach. He has been a strength coach, personal trainer, body work practitioner and fitness consultant for over fifteen years. He received his degree in Exercise Science from the University of Illinois and has trained and managed at some of New York’s most prestigious gyms including Equinox, Casa Fitness and New York Sports Club.
His duties with the Diamondbacks included developing conditioning and rehabilitation programs for minor league baseball players. Coach Pat continues to train professional baseball players and currently serves as a consultant to the Long Island University’s men’s baseball team and Next Level Baseball on Staten Island.
In addition Coach Pat has worked with physical therapists to develop strength and post-rehabilitation training programs. His training programs created at Rangeley Region Physical Therapy Center helped bridged the gap between physical therapy and personal training allowing patients to continue improving strength and function once physical therapy ended.
Coach Pat has studied a number of alternative therapeutic methods including Trager Therapy, Alexander Method, yoga, active isolation stretch and sports massage which he combines in his regenerative sports body work.
