Mike Aidala, a certified USAW Sports Performance Coach, has already acquired a wealth of experience in the field. He worked with the New York Jets strength and conditioning staff in the summers of 2009 and 2010, which allowed him to coach athletes at the highest level as well as manage their post-workout/practice and nutrition regimes. Mike then completed a five-month program at Athletes’ Performance, a world-class facility and innovator in the sports performance field, located in Los Angeles. During that time, Mike trained a wide variety of athletes, including D-I athletes getting ready for the NFL Combine as well as current NFL, MLB and professional basketball players and Olympic women’s cyclists and women’s Judo competitors as well as an Australian high school soccer team. Mike has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Fitness Development from Cortland State University. During his undergraduate studies, he played football and earned All- Academic All-Conference honors. He attended Horace Greeley High School where he was a captain and all-state quarterback/defensive back for the football team. He also was captain of his basketball team. Mike has trained competitively as an Olympic Weightlifter and won a silver medal in the 2007 Empire State Games.
