Dr. Christopher J Bux

Credentials: DPT, CSCS

Dr. Bux has earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. He has practiced in a variety of settings including In/Out patient: orthopedics, acute care, sub acute care, long term care, cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, wound care, neurology, and pediatrics. Prior to embarking on a career in Physical Therapy, Dr. Bux has served as both a Fitness manager and Personal Trainer/Coach with a multitude of success with guiding clients to their goals and assisting personal trainers in becoming successful with their career paths. 

Dr. Bux has held certifications with such organizations as NASM, ISSA, NGA, and currently teaches CPR/AED/BLS through the American Health and Safety Institute. Currently he serves as both a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Physical Therapist who bestow’s a manual approach to restorative care of appropriate patients diagnosed with orthopedic/neurological dysfunctions across a broad spectrum. Dr. Bux plans to sit for his certification for manual therapy (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine this fall and aspires to complete an Orthopedic Fellowship in Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in the near future. Although Dr. Bux is on a hiatus from NY he travels across the country helping hospitals and clinics in need. Dr. Bux serves as a consultant for Pure Fitness and an integral part of our future growth and plans.
